The Veil Studio – Terms & Conditions

By proceeding with a booking or purchase from The Veil Studio, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure all bookings over $150.

Bookings under $150 require full payment upfront to confirm.

The remaining balance must be paid 14 days prior to your event date.

Quotes are valid for 7 days only, and availability is not guaranteed until payment is received.

Cancellations made more than 14 days prior to your event will incur a 50% cancellation fee.

Cancellations made within 14 days of your event will incur a 100% cancellation fee.

Reductions in hire items are treated as cancellations and are subject to the same terms.

Any credits issued are at management's discretion and must be used within 6 months.

All hire items remain the property of The Veil Studio.

Items must be returned in the same condition they were received.

The client is responsible for any loss, damage, or excessive cleaning required.

Items must not be altered, cut, pinned, or permanently modified in any way.

If items are not returned within the agreed timeframe, additional hire fees may apply.

If The Veil Studio is providing setup, we will ensure all items are styled safely and securely.

Where possible, items may be weighted and/or pegged for stability depending on the surface and conditions.

Once setup is complete, responsibility for the items transfers to the client/venue.

If pack down is not included, clients must ensure items are safely stored and protected until collection.

Third-party pack down is permitted but must be handled with care.

Delivery and collection fees are additional unless stated otherwise.

Specific bump-in and bump-out times must be confirmed prior to the event.

If access is delayed or restricted, additional fees may apply.

If items are left at a venue, the client is responsible for ensuring they are stored safely until collection.

For outdoor events, the client accepts responsibility for weather conditions.

The Veil Studio reserves the right to modify or refuse installation if conditions are deemed unsafe (e.g. high winds, unstable surfaces).

No refunds will be issued due to weather-related decisions made in the interest of safety.

All custom items are made with love and handcrafted, meaning slight variations and imperfections may occur. These are not considered faults but part of the unique nature of the piece.

Colours, textures, and finishes may vary slightly from inspiration images or digital mock-ups.

Once design and details are approved, no changes can be made.

Custom items require full payment prior to production unless otherwise agreed.

Production timeframes are typically 3–4 weeks, however delays may occur during busy periods.

Custom items are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

While we aim to honour inspiration images, final styling may vary based on materials, availability, and professional judgement.

By booking with us, you trust The Veil Studio to execute your vision in line with our aesthetic and style.

The Veil Studio is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from the use or misuse of hire items.

The client assumes full responsibility for items during the hire period.
